We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Golang Engineer with strong AWS expertise and consulting experience to join the team on a long-term project. In this strategic role, you will lead the design and development of scalable backend systems, drive best practices across engineering, and work directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions. You will also help shape product direction and influence technical decisions at the highest level.


In this Role You Will:



  • Architect, design, and develop scalable applications and backend services using Golang.

  • Build and optimize cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.

  • Manage and deploy containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.

  • Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring performance and reliability.

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to uphold engineering excellence.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, CI/CD, and DevOps processes.


Essential Experience:



  • (required).

  • Extensive production experience with Golang.

  • Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services (ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).

  • Solid background in Kubernetes and containerization.

  • Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles with strong communication skills.

  • Strong system design skills and ability to influence product roadmaps.


Nice to Haves:



  • Experience with microservices architecture and API development.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation for testing and deployment.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based applications.
